The Mahogany Sessions // Jim Jones Revue
Jim Jones Revue invited us down to their studio in East London recently for a intimate studio session where they showcased two tracks from their latest album, Burning Your House Down.
We were all plugged into the mixing desk so the audio is absolutely phenomenal!
Shake, Rattle and Roll folks.
Jim Jones Revue -- High Horse
Jim Jones Revue -- Shoot First
The Mahogany Sessions // Spark
We’ve kept ourselves extremely busy this summer with the launch of the sessions and so far, it’s been emotional!
The latest session was with the London-based singer Spark whose is equipped with an amazing vocal skillset.
It’s early days in the career of this 18-year-old but keep a close eye out. We’re expecting some big things for her.
Spark -- Shut Out The Moon
Spark -- Damage Done
The Mahogany Sessions // Chief

For us, Chief are one of the most exciting bands to emerge over the past year or so. They’re the latest Domino Records signing and definitely a big priority for the Autumn and beyond.
With Santa Monica as their hometown, Chief are representing the true musical roots of the sunshine state -- no Botox involved.
The sun was shining during our session with them at Lounge on the Farm festival earlier in the summer and they performed two outstanding unplugged renditions from their upcoming album, Modern Rituals.
Chief -- Mighty Proud
Chief -- Night and Day
The Mahogany Sessions // David’s Lyre & Lail Arad
The Mahogany Sessions are going from strength to strength! We only launched the online channel this June with the wonderful Natty and since then we’ve been joined by a host of unforgettable artists. We caught up with two exciting artists recently, the first of which has been gaining a lot of love, including praise (and play) from none other than Zane Lowe.
Keep an eye out for David’s Lyre this year and also keep an ear out for the very rude tramp who yells out right at the end of the video below!
David’s Lyre -- English Roses
Lail’s quirky and referential music is complemented by the beautiful backdrop of Passing Clouds in Dalston. Lail performed one of her stand-out tracks with her guitar and kazoo atop of the bar!
Lail Arad -- Everybody’s Moving To Berlin
David Lyre also performed Tear Them Down and Lail also performed Over My Head -- check out the YouTube channel to watch them.
