Spanish producer conveniently named ‘El_Txef_A’ has made a beautifully subtle but wholly substantial edit of one of the singles from Bon Iver’s self-titled sophomore release and we think you’ll really like. We do.

Regal Safari
Brighton 3-piece Regal Safari were completely new to my ears until a reworking of their latest track by Egyptian Hip Hop glowed from within our inbox this morning.
On the original, think chaotic but organised compositions with light soaring vocals and the remix stays within those confines but in it’s own way.

I wasn’t even born at the height of Bryan Ferry’s career so it was until his performance on Jools Holland in 2010 that I really got a taste for the gent, and I liked it!
Shameless was the song that really stood out for me and I just had a SoundCloud session looking for some tasty remixes and reworks and managed to find this triplet of treasures!

Active Child (CFCF Remix)
Canadian DJ/producer CFCF was just commissioned to remix Active Child’s High Priestess from his 2011 album You Are All I See and it’s a sumptuous rewiring, adding gentle bass notes and the pan flute.

Sinden (Brenmar Remix) – Free Download
UK DJ and producer Sinden has a reputation for bringing the flavour of dancefloors across the Atlantic to the UK. One half of the duo The Count & Sinden, his sets incorporate everything from baille funk and hip hop, to electro and UK bass music.
So its probably right that one of the golden boys of the US club scene, Brenmar, has opted to remix Sinden’s latest track. Featuring the vocal talent of Jesse Boykins III, ‘High Demand’ is available for free download from Brenmar’s soundcloud.

Funking Christmas Tree!
I’m not big on decorating the Christmas tree, especially when my dog Eddie rips every hanging decoration off and eats the pines like they’re peanut butter, but a cure for the chore is music, and rather than dusting off the festive classics record, Motown edits were the true calling this year…
Rayko’s output of classic edits is massive but his latest work is definitely one of his best yet and this one played whilst putting up the lights!
