Officially speaking we’ve posted some music from Russell Morgan before, a beautiful cover of disco classic ‘Teardrops’, but the bluesy tones of this Cheshire based singer’s voice are so beautiful it is worth taking time to introduce him by way of his own compositions. Russell has a sound which blends traditional folk acoustics and strings, with more modern blues, jazz and soul woven into his songwriting. He’s also offered up his distinctive voice on ‘The Shadows I Make” a beautifully dark electronic track by producer Throwing Snow and vocalist Py. It’s a unique mix and has set Morgan up with an impressively diverse set of tracks.
