I grew up… in Blackpool.
Now you can find me in… Blackpool, or on the train between Blackpool and London!
It all started when… I went to a Karima Francis gig.
If I’m not in the studio or on stage, you’ll find me… at home with my family (what a boring answer, I’m sorry!)
My most treasured piece of musical equipment… is my piano in the kitchen at home, where I wrote most of my first songs.
If there’s one album that’s inspired me it’s… The Reminder by Feist
My favourite festival… Leeds Festival – the first one I ever went to and first big one I played.
A highlight of my musical career so far… supporting Bombay Bicycle Club at the venue I always dreamed of playing, Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom.
I can’t perform unless I have… Diet Coke to drink onstage, weirdly.
I wish I hadn’t… convinced myself that I can only perform if I drink diet coke… it looks like I’m sponsored by them!
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s… that your gut instinct should always have the last say.
If you’re new to my music, I suggest listening to Wait a While first (as it was the first one I wrote).
My next release will be… a new song called Grow.
