I grew up… on a beach an hour outside of Sydney. In a place called Cronulla.
Now you can find me in… lots of places. I don’t really have a home. But usually Sydney, LA or London.
It all started when… I sang for my second grade music teacher. It was a song from Sister Act 2.
If I’m not in the studio or on stage, you’ll find me… at home. Sleeping. I don’t go out much.
My most treasured piece of musical equipment… my Guild t50 from 1965.
If there’s one album that’s inspired me it’s… Déjà Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
My favourite festival… is Secret Garden festival in Sydney. Very small and intimate but lots of fun.
A highlight of my musical career so far… working with a guy called Mocky in LA. He has been an incredible inspiration.
I can’t perform unless I have… hot water 30 minutes before. Rock and roll.
I wish I hadn’t… joined an all singing all dancing church band aged 14 and travelled the country for 5 bucks a show.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s… don’t be a friend to all or you’ll be a friend to none.
If you’re new to my music, I suggest listening to…. Kings, Queens, Beggars and Thieves first.
My next release will be… the Brother EP, released in the UK in November
