Loui the ZU is back with a rather lovely low-fi sounding ballad “You Don’t Have To Lie”. Apparently inspired by the film Hope Springs, this is the lament of a broken hearted woman.
We love Loui’s sound – we’ve posted some of his tracks before - it’s all indie synths and ethereal echoing vocals, but with the structure and lyrical style of classic 1950′s pop.
