The Staves have been around for a couple of years as a band, perfecting what we believe to be spine-tinglingly beautiful acoustic music set alongside three stunning sets of vocals which combined create harmonies that melt hearts.

2012 is the much deserved year that these three sisters will shine and although they’ll undoubtedly feature on numerous ‘Ones to Watch’ lists, these girls are in the category of ‘Ones to Hear’.

We met with the girls at the beautiful Paradise by way of Kensal Rise in late November and what came as a bit of a surprise was the level of banter they had, so in many ways it was one of the funniest session days of the year.

The music is stunning and the subsequent harmonies mentioned earlier reveal a deep connection between the siblings and a bond that is not only ever-lasting on a personal level, but through their songs, videos and sessions like ours, we’re also able to share that bond as an audience which is what makes The Staves so special for us.
