Peaking Lights

As 2011 is drawing to a close, its hard not to reminisce and start thinking over the musical highlights of the year. The debut album ’936′ from husband and wife act Peaking Lights has definitely been one of 2011′s magical moments.
The album is a beautiful psychedelic trip of 1960s folk and indie with touches of dub and soul. It is truly superb. Standout tracks are ‘All The Sun That Shines’, ‘Hey Sparrow’ and ‘Birds of Paradise’ but to be honest we can’t wait to hear the whole album in full at their sold out show at London’s Plastic People on 6th December. Look out for these two in 2012…
