Don’t be deceived by the picture, this isn’t a late Halloween post but instead a feature on some early talents – all which tickled my ears in a number of different ways and I think they may well tickle yours as well.

We’ll start with Pinemarten who releases his debut album via his Bandcamp page at the end of November. As pop music gains it’s footing more and more in the independent landscape, Pinemarten is part of the construction team and this song is like the audible version of a summer sunrise!

Blank Spaces – Hold Fast - right click, save as to download

Blank Spaces is an all-analogue guy when it comes to recording music (one of the few remaining no doubt) but there’s alway’s something about the sound you get which can never be topped. His music is difficult to describe so without futher ado, click play and see what you think.

Starlight Girls – Flutterby – right click, save as to download

Self-produced Brooklyn Starlight Girls dropped this our way earlier in the week and I now I want to watch Boardwalk Empire and Mad Men back-to-back and specifically on Blu-Ray. In other words, it screams high-quality modern vintage.
