Justice?
Not sure about you boys and girls, but I’ve found both new Justice tracks from the upcoming album to be middle of the road and quite frankly boring.
The latest track ‘AUDIO, VIDEO, DISCO’ just doesn’t go anywhere or do anything. My feet didn’t tap, head didn’t nod and I can’t imagine having the balls to drop this during a DJ set and expect it to make an impact.
With Civilisation, the premiere on the Adidas All In advert campaign was perfect thanks to incredible footage and editing (including editing of the song itself) but the actual music video was completely overtaken by the sound of boulders smashing and all sorts so you could barely hear the fucking song!
A commenter on Stereogum said “wow this video is almost as underwhelming as the song? what happened to the old justice, with attitude + funk + dirt“.
Sort it out chaps.
