Fenech-Soler suffered a major set-back when frontman Ben Duffy was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier in the year. Irrespective of the band, it must have put such an incredible strain and worry on the young, enigmatic and talented singer/musician.
Thankfully however, after surgery and treatment, Ben is fully recovered and in remission and having seen him fighting fit on stage at Hop Farm festival, it’s good to have them back.
Back in July the band reached out to the online community with a video competition for their track Golden Sun. The directorial winner would receive a cash prize as well as meet the Warner Music executives regarding further work together and the winner was recently announced as Alex et Ol from Belgium.
