The Lost Lounge Sessions #2 – Nimmo and the Gauntletts
James Yuill was the first artist to be featured from our recovered hard drive which came with us to Lounge on the Farm festival last July.
Since then the skies have darkened and temperatures dropped but this new collection of festival sessions bring a gust of warmth with their cloudless blue skies.
The second band to go live this week are UK-based Nimmo and the Gauntletts who are dear friends of Mahogany and a top, top band.
We joined them on the Saturday just after they played a packed out tent and they performed one of their best known songs, Star Crossed Lonely.

Ain’t No Remix High Enough
D.O.D has pushed the clocks back, reached into his musical vault and turned one of Marvin Gaye’s most celebrated songs into an electro tour-de-force.
I think Marvin is due back on the walk-to-work playlist tomorrow morning!
Now he wouldn’t be a celebrity unless he had a bizarre death and so on April 1, 1984, Marvin Gaye was shot at point blank range by his father, using a pistol he received as a Christmas present from his late son.

Must say that this track is more suited to a mixtape as it does start to get a little tedious toward the end. Still enjoyed it though.
