We joined Newcastle-based Let’s Buy Happiness in the kitchen quarters of their management offices in London not long ago.
They played two lovely stripped back songs for us including their upcoming debut single, Six Wolves.

I grew up...in a small village near Brighton called Henfield, the same place as my friends High Rankin & LVIS 1990. Cassette Playa hails from the next village along in fact.
It all started when…I pressed play.
If I’m not playing music you’ll find me…sleeping / sulking / drinking booze / watching Jeremy Kyle or Eastenders / googling my own name / sitting on chat roulette with my nob out.
I can’t perform unless I have…some cdjs, a mixer and a sound system? DUH.
My three dream festival headliners would be…Roxette, Gorgoroth and Hot Water Music.
You’ll always see me wearing…a Fred Perry polo.
I wish I hadn’t…spent so much time thinking about what I wish I hadn’t done.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s…look after your ears, I got tinnitus when I was 21 from being careless in clubs & it can get very frustrating.
Give me 10 minutes and I’ll cook a great…medium rare steak with new potatoes and asparagus.
Buy me a drink and I’ll…talk about myself until you are very bored.
I’m not really into business, but I do like Alan Sugar. No one tells a man what time it is like Lord Sugar.
My favourite food is…I’m really shit at choosing food, I’ll have what you’re having.
My favourite smell is…the smell of cut grass on a bright day when spring is turning into summer, I also like long walks in the park, going to the cinema, reading, shopping & sports. Looking for a young lady between the ages of 22-29. Must have G.S.O.H, no morals, low self esteem & a strong stomach.
My most recent release is…my “Mum Decent EP” on Mad Decent (check the video for the lead single below) & my next release will be the “Tarahtid EP” on No Hats No Hoods, which is a more UK sounding EP for the Grime Heads featuring Trim & Jammer. Then I think Im going to do another EP with Brodinski, so keep an eye out for that.

Younger Brother (Mahogany Exclusive Remix)
Younger Brother are absolutely huge, in a surprisingly small way.
That doesn’t make much sense, but when you look at their cult-like fanbase and compare it with the success of their last two albums in terms of figures, it almost doesn’t add up.
It’s not a negative thing at all though – having a devout following of true fans is priceless. So many bands we see today rely on the ever-shrinking marketing budgets of major labels in order to try and grow a fanbase.
To give you an idea, this underground three-piece single handedly sold out Brixton Academy (5000 capacity) and are on track to release their third studio album, funded entirely by their followers.
They’ve remixed their own song and extended it to a gorgeous 8-minutes. It’s delicate and light and a Mahogany Exclusive, the only place you can get it is here!

I grew up…in a small village called Kill in County Kildare, Ireland.
It all started when…I joined the choir when I was seven.
If I’m not playing music you’ll find me…playing with my 6 month old daughter Molly Mae or having a glass of wine with my husband John.
I can’t perform unless I have…water and a hair brush.
My three dream festival headliners would be… Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and me!
You’ll always see me wearing…my engagement and wedding rings.
I wish I hadn’t…worn shoulder pads and permed my hair…I was only 13 though.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s…since having Molly Mae, nothing else matters as long as she’s safe and happy.

Can’t Stop Won’t Stop
I didn’t think I was a particularly jealous person until this evening when I watched the new music video from Can’t Stop Won’t Stop which supports the track, Cool Summer.
It’s in the middle of nowhere in the height of summer somewhere in the States but most of all, they’ve got a ramp going straight into a lake coupled with a collection of BMX bikes and some great cameras!
The video is outstanding and makes you want to head down to your local park and set up a similar thing by the duck pond.
