I grew up…in South East London and later moved the Worcester in the midlands in my early teens. The move was a culture shock to say the least. I still don’t feel like a ‘grown up’, I think its a continuous and interesting process.

It all started when…I watched The Fresh Prince and discovered Boyz II Men!

If I’m not playing music you’ll find me…doing the robot and dreaming about jumpsuits.

I can’t perform unless I have…a bowl of pink M&M’s, ten white fluffy puppies, rose scented candles, a red carpet and a unicorn….NOT! The only reason I can’t sing is if I’m sleeping and even then I’m probably dreaming about it.

My three dream festival headliners would be…Montreal Jazz Festival, Glastonbury and Sonar.

You’ll always see me wearing…a smile on my face, some curly hair on my head and a jumpsuit.

I wish I hadn’t…missed the opportunity to crowd surf when we supported De La Soul at a gig recently. Oh I’m soooo gutted about that! Argh!!

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s…to listen to yourself and completely respect your instinct by following it without fear.

Give me 10 minutes and I’ll cook a great…omelette!

I’m not really into Indie, but I do like Kings Of Leon

My favourite food is…food that is good for the mind, body and soul…that includes chocolate of the Green & Blacks variety. Yes that is very good!

My favourite smell is…my grandparent’s house, it smells like home.

My next release will be…a track called A Town Called Obsolete which will be released on the 26th of July 2010 on Ninja Tune Records before my debut album called ‘Lost Where I Belong’ drops in August.
