Fenech-Soler
Fenech-Soler rapidly became one of my favourite acts of the year and after catching them at SXSW I was completely smitten by the group.
Stop and Stare is out for release on April 19th on Moda Music but in the meantime they’ve decided to get our blood boiling by giving one of the remixes from the single away for free and it’s not a shit one either.
I hate when some bands give the most mediocre remix away and it rightfully generates no fuss whatsoever. This one is by The Fur and is packed with digital nutrients and vitamins and it only makes me tingle to think what other remixes will join the brilliant single.

Normally we see eye to eye, but the Nero track and now this group after seeing them live??
Perhaps SWSX has some great sound guy helping them out but they were pretty poor at Heaven at the Kitsune Maison party a week ago and average supporting We Have Band at Kings College a few days later. Not even in the same game really.
But each to their own, I just think their sound is so niche that the mood for it is already faltering. Perhaps if the singing became less polished, something rougher… Oh and please change costumes, bigger men in sequins?!?
nice remix tho….probably better than those on the release!
