Where Is My Mind?
We’re big big fans of Bassnectar at Mahogany HQ – he’s one of the few producers of the dark musical arts that has stood out for us in a big way this year and it seems like Christmas is no deterrent for work as in drops a new remix from him this week.
I’ve never been a massive fan of The Pixies and I didn’t gather at the top a hill during full moon to celebrate their comeback gigs at Reading however after this remix I think I could be a changed man.
Who better to describe the track than Bassnectar aka Lorin…
“This is just a simple chunk of bass and beats, probably not dubstep because it is 20 bpm faster, probably not D&B because it doesn’t follow the rules, but its thick and deep and it should be yours. I agree with Savvy; this is the only awesome mix of this tune. Goes so well with other tunes, especially slowing a d&b set down.
The artists description is actually for the track “Where is My Instrumental”.
The description for “Where is My Mind (Bassnectar Remix)” goes like this:
