There are moments in life when all I really want is to be alone, even just for a day or two, and don’t talk to anyone. I don’t pick up the phone, don’t reply to texts or stupid emails, and only go out of my bedroom when my flatmates are asleep.

I can’t blame it on a difficult childhood or a mental health disorder. I just happen to be a rude moody bastard (not really).

I found the perfect soundtrack for those happy and isolated times. They’re called The xx, and I’m sure most of you already heard of them as there seems to more and more buzz about those four disgustingly talented kids. Really enjoying their debut album. It’s calm, quite dreamy and subtle.

There’s an amazingly good mash-up/remix of their Intro, with an extra gangster vibe added to the original tune, it got me hooked.
