George Lenton

George Lenton was born in 1941 to a working class family in the muggy, dark streets of East London.

It was only when he was sent to Humphrey Dillingers School for the Musically Gifted that anyone realised how much potential the young lad actually had. It was however a gift and a curse for George discovered an addiction to dirty basslines and massive drops (something unheard of and incredible taboo back in 1953).

Head Teacher Humphrey Dillinger hated this and Lenton was lashed for days for his love of all things musically filthy and it wasn’t long before he was expelled and controversially, ordered to be hanged.

In the days leading up to the hanging George rewired an old radio and managed to steal some piano keys and forged what we now know today as Ableton Live. After a painful night of fiddling and tweaking, the audio file was ready.

As the executioner led him to the podium in the school grounds – the timer on the speakers triggered an almighty sound that, to the untrained ear, caused instant death.

That sound was Dubstep.

As a result Henry Dillinger and the executioners head were made into a squishy pulp by the third drop.

No-one knows what happened from there but the rouge musician continues to distribute his music from an undisclosed location in the UK. He sent his latest creation to us this week. The epic Troll.
