Channel 4 had White Men Can’t Jump on late last week and it’s got a classic hip-hop soundtrack. I remember watching this film when I was seriously young and my dad covering my eyes during that shower scene with Harrelson and Perez.

As soon as I heard this song I knew it would be the next song in the Cassette Years series. Which I’m starting to really enjoy now.

Main Source didn’t get past one album -- a damn shame but they left the game with one of hip-hops all-time classics.

The lyrics have more meaning today than ever before. They apply to almost every urban artist newbie in the charts.
