Mt Eden Dubstep
Finally the New Zealand producer has delivered a high quality MP3 file of this epic re-work of a Freshly Ground song.
I thought it strange that he was running everything from a YouTube profile page simply because the information can be so vague but considering that a hell of a lot of people use YouTube to listen to music, it’s not such a bad idea.
It seems the overwhelming requests for actual audio files have paid off and here it is in all its glory.

Discovered Mt Eden Dubstep about 5 months ago – absolutely awesome stuff. Why can we not buy his stuff on iTunes or such? even signing up with Magnatune.com – at least gives you a chance to sell it and get some sort of reward for your work!

On the Sierra Leone track, I’ve heard a version that has a voice overdub that starts, “Let’s have a game with happy and sad music…” is that a cover of this tune by someone else or is it just a different version? Thanks!

While Mt. Eden is good, it seems to be very overrated to me. There’s a lot of great dubstep, I don’t see why everybody is praising this guy so much. Like I said, he’s good, just not great. And are any of you actually reading the blog post at all? This is just a blog post about Mt. Eden, this isn’t Mt. Eden himself. Just because he made a post about the songs doesn’t mean that he made them, and the author of this post makes that very clear. How are almost none of you realizing that?
