The weather this week has been incredible and the music I’m hearing on the radio is just not suitable for the heatwave spreading across the UK at the moment.
Fat Freddy’s Drop are a reggae/dub/nu-soul group from New Zealand and considered heroes in their homeland – across the world they sell out huge venues with their soothing songs. They all look great as a band – the huge Samoans playing trumpets at the back of the stage.
Their album Based On A True Story is one of those albums you put on after a heavy night out when everyone’s finishing off their ‘drinks’.
