Ah this brings back memories of a good night at 93 Feet East when these guys played a great set.

Considering there are 7 band members including two singers the energy is perfect. They don’t edge toward any particular genre either: instead they easily cherry pick small aspects of many popular genres and the result is all lovely and warm!

They’ve been doing the rounds in the UK for the past couple of years now – it’s difficult to say whether they’ll make it to the mainstream and it may not even be what they’re looking for but the likes of Huw Stephens (BBC Introducing), Steve Lamacq (Radio 1) and John Kennedy (Xfm) are all big fans. If I were in a band I’d much prefer to be admired by them rather than the awful Jo Wiley, Fearne Cotton and Edith Bowman brigade.

That trio make me ill.
