Tommy Sparks – She’s Got Me Dancing
A new artist on the scene from Sweden is Tommy Sparks.
He’s joined a host of artists like FrankMusic, Alphabeat, La Roux and Ladyhawke that come under the ‘Wonky Pop’ group which kind of means pop music with a slight edge -- some edgier that others to tell the truth.
Electronic music is quickly making it’s way into mainstream pop -- it’s good to see the pop genre evolving in a good sense compared to the way mainstream hip-hop is progressing which is downright upsetting (Let’s all stick to Common, Talib Kweli and the other proper lyricists).
Tommy Sparks has been under the wing of his good friends The Prodigy and it’s clear he has a musical past in electro and hip-hop.

Massive tune indeed. Questionable whether the guitar chord progression is inspired by or is a plagiarism of The Ohio Player’s ‘Love Roller Coaster’.
