Holy shit this remix is seriously juicy – I haven’t heard Gorillaz for ages now, it hasn’t even come on via shuffle for at least a year (have a lot of music) so to hear this properly blew me away.
It makes you appreciate Gorillaz a lot for the original but then you take your hat and hair off for Stanton Warriors.
It’s not often we post up tracks from the same group in one week but we had to make the exception – couldn’t keep this from you guys and girls.

Just discovered this remix – having missed the g-sides album originally and spotted it in the 2 for £10 stacks at HMV; totally blown away by the quality of the tracks on it; and then to find some cracking remixes on a 2nd CD too; it has made my week-end (working thru the entire weekend); Can’t wait to get home and play some of this stuff real LOUD on my stereo. Esp. grungy, raspy “We are happy landfill” – ace. who-woulda thought he could sound like that.
